This privacy policy applies to the WeGuideAuto App (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by

Vijay Anand (Founder)

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:

* Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)

* The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages

* The time spent on the Application

* The operating system you use on your mobile device

 

2. Camera Permissions

The Application requires access to your device's **Camera** (`android.permission.CAMERA`).

* **Why we need it:** The camera is used strictly for capturing photos during Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and attaching those photos to vehicle inspection reports.

* **How we use the data:** The images captured are uploaded directly to our secure database (Firebase) to be included in the inspection reports.

* We **do not** use the camera for any other purpose, and we **do not** share your photos with unauthorized third parties.

 

3. Does the Application collect precise real-time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device. *(Update this if you add location tracking later)*.

 

4. Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, such as Google Play Services and Google Firebase.

 

5. Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us.

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain.
